Unathi Makalima

Unathi Makalima has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. From 2008 to 2011, Unathi worked as a Public Relations Coordinator for The South African Breweries. Following this, from 2011 to 2012, Unathi served as a Public Relations Specialist at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. In 2013, Unathi joined Trade & Investment KwaZulu-Natal as a Marketing Coordinator until 2015. From 2016 to 2018, Unathi worked as a Marketing Manager at Aurum Innova. Most recently, Unathi held positions at Ubongo, starting as an Administrator from 2019 to 2021, then becoming an Operations Manager from 2021 to 2021, and currently serving as the Head of Operations from September 2021.

Unathi Makalima completed a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, which they attended from 2001 to 2004.
