Derek S. Chan

Derek S. Chan is an accomplished entrepreneur and educator with a diverse background in the startup ecosystem. As the Founder of Inception Studio and Co-Founder & CEO of InterpersonAI, Derek has demonstrated a strong commitment to innovation and leadership in technology-driven ventures. Derek has also contributed to academia as a faculty member at the University of California, Berkeley, which includes a period of hiatus. In addition, Derek has been involved with the Venture Studio Pilot Program at FutureSight and served in a capacity within the Startup Incubator Pad-13 at Berkeley SkyDeck. Derek holds a BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, and received education from the UC Berkeley School of Information.
