Peter Stine

Peter Stine is a seasoned professional specializing in wildlife and forest management with extensive experience in research and project management. Currently serving as a Project Analyst at the University of California, Davis, Peter manages geospatial data for the California Wildfire and Forest Resilience Task Force and contributes to the development of the Task Force Action Plan Revision. Previously, Peter held roles such as Project Manager at the Climate & Wildfire Institute and Research Associate at the Pacific Southwest Research Station of the Forest Service. Peter's career includes positions as Principal Consultant at Stine Wildland Resources Science and Director of Partnerships and Collaboration at the Pacific Southwest Research Station, along with significant roles at the Pacific Northwest Research Station and USGS Biological Resources Division. Peter's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Biogeography from UC Santa Barbara, a Master’s Degree in Wildland Resources Science from UC Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Forestry and Conservation from UC Berkeley.
