Randy Carney

Randy Carney is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of California, Davis, where Randy leads the Carney Lab focusing on nanoscale engineering for biomedical innovation since September 2013. Randy previously held positions as an Assistant Professor and a Postdoctoral Fellow, specializing in nanoscale vibrational spectroscopy for diagnostic profiling in ovarian cancer. Education includes a Ph.D. in Materials Science from EPFL, a Master of Science in Materials Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Arkansas.
