Anwesh Mohanty

Anwesh Mohanty is a graduate student researcher at UC San Diego, specializing in machine learning and biomechanics since September 2023. Currently engaged in two research roles, Anwesh focuses on classifier-guided diffusion for performance training and sepsis prediction model improvements. Previous experience includes a machine learning engineer internship at Healcisio Inc., where Anwesh developed a Llama-3 powered LLM agent for quality reporting in hospitals. Prior roles at Samsung India involved significant advancements in image processing for flagship devices, while experience as an undergraduate teaching assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, included mentoring and course support. Anwesh holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from IIT Bombay.
