Laura Margoni

Laura Margoni serves as the Executive Director of Strategic and Critical Communications at UC San Diego, a position held since April 2006. Margoni has also held various leadership roles within the university, including Executive Director of Internal Communications, Executive Director of University Communications, and Interim Senior Director of Strategic Communications, among others. Prior experience includes serving as Chair for the UC San Diego Marketing Council and working as a Senior Account Executive at SZPR. Margoni's career began in account management at Heying & Associates. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Biology from the University of Southern California.
