Stephan Anagnostaras

Stephan Anagnostaras is an experienced academic currently serving as an Associate Professor at UC San Diego since July 2003, where research focuses on the intersection of molecular genetics and behavior in areas such as Memory and Addiction, and Psychostimulants and ADHD. Previously, Anagnostaras held the position of Assistant Professor at UC San Diego and also served as an Assistant Professor at Emory University from 2001 to 2003. Early career experience includes working as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan from 1988 to 1993 under Dr. Terry Robinson, focusing on stimulant addiction. Anagnostaras holds a Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience from UCLA (1998) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Michigan (1993).
