Delaney Shanley

Delaney Shanley has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Delaney started their career as a Receptionist at V Lash Spa Boutique in 2019 and later worked as a Barista at ZEBRA HOUSE COFFEE. In 2021, Delaney held the role of a Hostess at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. and also worked as a Social Media Marketing Specialist at Montecito Collective. In 2022, they joined ScOp Venture Capital as an Investment Analyst Intern, where they focused on identifying potential successful companies. Additionally, Delaney has been involved with Alpha Phi International Fraternity, holding various positions such as Vice President of Membership Recruitment, Director of External Affairs, Director of Formal Recruitment, and Director of Ivy Linking. Currently, they are also the UCSB Dance Team Social Media Director at UCSB Athletics.

Delaney Shanley attended San Clemente High School from 2017 to 2020, where they earned their High School Diploma. In 2016 and 2017, they also attended the Orange County School of the Arts for the Commercial Dance Conservatory program. Currently, Delaney is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree at UC Santa Barbara, with majors in Economics and Dance, which they started in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2024. Additionally, in 2022, they participated in the Barcelona Summer Abroad Program at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, focusing on Law and Economics. In 2023 and 2024, Delaney is also undertaking a Certificate in the Technology Management Program at UC Santa Barbara.
