Katie Visentin

Director of Brand Activation at UCAN

Katie Visentin has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Katie began their career with a role as an intern at Generation UCAN in 2011, where they conducted competitor analysis, created surveys, and reported on various research topics. Katie then worked as a Marketing Intern at USRowing in 2013, where they researched social media trends and expanded the sponsorship outreach database. In 2014, they joined UCAN as an Event Manager and Marketing Associate, responsible for managing events and marketing initiatives. In 2019, they were promoted to the role of Director of Brand Activation at UCAN. Prior to these roles, Katie worked as a Graduate Assistant Women's Rowing Coach at the University of Connecticut from 2012 to 2014, where they empowered athletes, planned practices, and managed the team's social media outlets. Katie also held various roles at the University of Connecticut's Residential Life Operations, including office assistant, conference supervisor, and conference assistant from 2010 to 2012, where they managed operations, organized conferences, and provided customer service. Overall, Katie has demonstrated their skills in marketing, event management, coaching, and customer service throughout their career.

Katie Visentin completed their education with a Master's degree in Kinesiology/Sport Management from the University of Connecticut, which they pursued from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, Katie had already obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of Connecticut between 2009 and 2012. Katie'smajor during this time was an Individualized Major, with a minor in Communications. Apart from their degrees, Katie also obtained a certification in Heartsaver CPR AED in September 2013 from the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association.
