Paul Seekings

Paul Seekings is an experienced professional who has held several roles throughout their career. Paul is currently working as the Head of Data Science at UCARE.AI, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, from January 2018 to May 2021, Paul served as the Head of AI at Us2.ai. In 2015, they were the Chief Technology Officer at EmbodiedSensing, where they led a team of hardware engineers and acoustic signal processors. Before that, they worked as a Research Fellow at the Marine Mammal Research Laboratory (MMRL) from July 2009 to June 2015 and at the Acoustic Research Laboratory (ARL) from January 2001 to June 2009.

Paul Seekings received a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors (B.Eng(Hons)) degree in Electronics, Music, and Media from Leeds Beckett University, which they attended from 1991 to 1994. Paul then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics, also at Leeds Beckett University, from 1997 to 2001.
