Jan-Sebastiaan Uyttersprot

Jan-Sebastiaan Uyttersprot currently serves as the Head of Manufacturing and Powder Technology at UCB, a position held since June 2020, and previously held the role of PAT Principal Scientist. Prior to UCB, Jan-Sebastiaan worked as a Data Engineer at Indigo from November 2018 to June 2020 and spent nearly two decades at Procter & Gamble from November 1999 to October 2018, focusing on chemometrics and process analytical technology, specifically in the development of spectroscopic sensors for quality monitoring. Jan-Sebastiaan is recognized as an expert in chemometry and has expertise in colloidal chemistry, wet chemistry, and automation. Jan-Sebastiaan contributed to external programs including IWT 130980 and E4 Water, aimed at analytical methods for complex liquids and wastewater streams, respectively. Jan-Sebastiaan holds a Master's Degree in Biochemistry from Katholieke Hogeschool 'Sint-Lieven' and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Ghent University.
