Jasmine Jackson, MD has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Jasmine started their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at Boston University, where they conducted research on biomechanical engineering. Jasmine then worked as a Medical Assistant and Laboratory Coordinator at the New York Dermatology Group, assisting doctors with patient care and clinical procedures.

Dr. Jackson later joined Emory University School of Medicine as a Graduate Researcher, focusing on pediatric gastroenterology. Jasmine conducted research on the relationship between pediatric non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and hepatic fibrosis markers.

Jasmine then completed their Pediatric Residency at Jacobi Medical Center, where they were a part of the Educational Committee and received teaching awards. Jasmine continued their pediatric career at St. Barnabas Hospital as a Pediatric Attending, contributing to inpatient care and the Credentialing Committee.

Currently, Dr. Jackson works at Union Community Health Center as the Pediatric Director. In this role, they manage staff, organizes the daily workflow, and implements changes for better patient care and staff wellness. Jasmine also serves as a Pediatric Attending, caring for pediatric patients and precepting residents.

Throughout their career, Dr. Jackson has demonstrated a commitment to patient care, research, and education in pediatrics.

Jasmine Jackson, MD, earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Emory University School of Medicine, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Columbia University from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Jackson has obtained several certifications. Jasmine is Board Certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP), which they achieved in November 2020. Jasmine also holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), earned in January 2018, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), obtained from the American Academy of Pediatrics in January 2018.
