Heath Hewitt has extensive work experience in the field of IT and instructional technology. Heath began their career as a Computer Resource Specialist at UCLA Extension in 2004, where they provided Macintosh IT support and supervised student employees in a lab environment. In 2005, they transitioned to the UCLA School of Education and Information Studies as a Programmer/Analyst and later took on the role of Instructional Technologist. In this capacity, they maintained school-wide instructional technology, including classroom AV and Zoom, and assisted faculty with the implementation of the campus Learning Management System, Bruin Learn (Canvas). Most recently, Heath served as the Director of IT at the UCLA School of Education and Information Studies.
Heath Hewitt completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History and French from Claremont McKenna College in 2002. Heath later pursued a Master of Arts degree in Modern European History from the University of Southern California and completed it in 2004.
