Leadership Head Counselor at UCLA Unicamp

Isabela Angulo has a diverse range of work experiences. ISABELA began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the UCLA Department of Communication in 2022. ISABELA then took on a leadership role as Head Counselor at UCLA UniCamp, where they were responsible for training volunteer counselors, overseeing campers, and facilitating team-building activities. In 2021, Isabela worked as a Content Writer for La Gente Latinx Newsmagazine, conducting research and interviews to write articles relevant to the Latinx community. ISABELA also served as a Coatequitl Leadership and Student Initiated Retention Intern at MEcHA Calmecac in 2023, researching social issues impacting communities of color and presenting findings to improve programs. Isabela's experience also includes a Communications and Development Internship at LOS ANGELES NOMADIC DIVISION LAND in 2022, where they participated in team meetings, designed visuals for social media, and analyzed data.

Isabela Angulo completed their high school education at LA Serna High School from 2016 to 2020, earning a High School Diploma. ISABELA then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Communication, General at UCLA, starting in 2020 and expected to graduate in 2024.
