Sunny Cheng

Sunny Cheng has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Sunny is currently serving as the Group CFO at UCP Group since May 2020. In addition, they co-founded Fortune River Catering Limited in May 2021. Prior to their current roles, Sunny worked at DHL from November 2013 to April 2020, where they held the position of Director, Head of Financial Controlling.

Before joining DHL, Sunny held various finance roles at Mattel, Inc. from July 2006 to August 2013. This includes positions such as Head of Finance, North & Southeast Asia, Regional Finance Manager for Asia Pacific, and Finance Manager for China. Sunny also worked as a Senior Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers from March 2005 to June 2006.

Sunny started their career at Mattel (Hong Kong) Limited in November 2002, serving as a Junior Cost Accountant and later as a System Accountant.

With their professional qualifications as an ACCA, CPA, and an EMBA degree, Sunny Cheng brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their roles in financial management and strategy.

Sunny Cheng has a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, which was obtained from 1999 to 2002. In 2016 to 2018, Sunny completed an Executive Master of Business Administration (E.M.B.A.) at CUHK Business School. Additionally, Sunny has certifications as a Chartered Certified Accountant from ACCA and a Certified Public Accountant from the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Sunny also holds a certification as a Certified 21st Century CFO from DHL Express.
