King Sun

King Sun is a Clinical Nurse II at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals since October 2022, following a progression of roles in nursing and healthcare. Previously, King served as the BSN and ELMSN Cohort Representative for the Nursing Students Association at San Francisco State University from April 2021 to May 2022, advocating for peers' concerns within the organization. Prior experience includes working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs from August 2021 to February 2022, where responsibilities spanned multiple hospital departments, and at Generations Healthcare from September 2017 to July 2021, focusing on long-term and rehabilitative care. Additionally, King gained initial work experience as a Camp Assistant through the Mayor's Youth Employment & Education Program in summer 2016. King earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from San Francisco State University in 2022, having also completed education at Northbay Nursing Institute and Lowell High School.
