Miriam Orlando

Miriam Orlando, LCSW has extensive work experience in the field of social work. Miriam is currently working at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals as the Mental Health Team Lead for the B.E.S.T. Program and as a Medical Social Worker III. Prior to this, they worked at the County of Santa Clara as a Clinical Lead for the Juvenile Hall Behavioral Health team, providing various services to youth involved in the juvenile justice system. Miriam also held the position of Psychiatric Social Worker II, where they conducted crisis intervention, individual therapy, and substance abuse assessments for the court.

Before their time at the County of Santa Clara, Miriam worked at Rebekah Children's Services as a Facilitator III, where they provided individual, family, and group therapy and collaborated with various professionals in the client's life.
