Andy Chau

Andy Chau has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. They began their career at Brown & Toland Physicians in 2011 as a Risk Adjustment Specialist, where they worked until 2014. In 2014, Andy joined Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center as a member of the Hospital Operations/Lean Management team. After a year, they moved on to Hill Physicians Medical Group, where they held roles as a Clinical Innovations Project Manager and later as a Clinical Innovations Program Manager. In 2019, Andy joined UCSF Health, initially working as a Value Improvement Program Manager and subsequently as a Senior Improvement Advisor. Currently, Andy serves as the Administrative Director of Perioperative Services at UCSF Health.

Andy Chau holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Policy & Management from the University of California, Berkeley, which was obtained from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Public Health and Integrative Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2007 to 2011. Andy also participated in an Exchange Program at The University of Hong Kong in 2011. In addition, Andy has a certification as a Lean Champion from UCSF Health, although the specific details of when it was obtained are unknown.
