Cagri Karahan

Cagri Karahan is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and product development. Currently serving as VP of Engineering and Country Manager at Udemy since June 2020, Cagri played a pivotal role in transitioning the company through an IPO and scaling the Istanbul office from the first employee to over 50 within 18 months. Prior experience includes leading product development at eBay Turkey with a team of over 100 and holding various engineering roles at Amazon Web Services. As a co-founder and CEO of two acquired companies, Minder Software Solutions and MobilG It Solutions, Cagri demonstrated entrepreneurial acumen in developing innovative applications. Cagri's educational background includes a PhD in Cognitive Science from Middle East Technical University, complemented by a Master’s from Politecnico di Milano and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Middle East Technical University.
