Melissa Daimler

Melissa Daimler is the current Chief Learning Officer at Udemy. Prior to their current position, Daimler served as the Head of Learning + Organizational Development at Twitter from February 2012 to September 2016. In this role, they were responsible for starting, building, and scaling the Talent Development & Acquisition functions for approximately 3,500 employees. Her global responsibilities included leadership, management, individual and community team development, hiring and onboarding, executive coaching, and facilitating team sessions.

In October 2016, Daimler left Twitter to join WeWork as their SVP of Talent. At WeWork, they continued their work in developing and implementing learning and organizational strategies. Melissa also designed and started implementing a management development program that would be rolled out to managers around the world. Additionally, they created an accelerated leadership program, 360 feedback tool based on company values, business simulation, and blended learning approach that leverages both online and offline development opportunities. Daimler left WeWork in September 2017 to take on their current role at Udemy.

Outside of their corporate positions, Daimler has also served as an HR Venture Advisor for SemperVirens Venture Capital and as a Principal for Daimler Partners from June 2018 to September 2021.

Melissa Daimler is a Master of Science in Organization Development from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. Melissa also has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Winona State University.
