Margitte Kristjansson

Margitte Kristjansson began their work experience as a Student Leadership Coordinator at the University of Washington from November 2006 to August 2009. Margitte then went on to work as a Graduate Student & Teaching Assistant in Communication at UC San Diego from September 2009 to May 2013. In 2010, they started working as a Freelance Writer, Filmmaker, and Speaker, focusing on beauty and body image, until June 2014. From June 2013 to June 2014, they also worked as a Communications Specialist at UDW / AFSCME Local 3930. Margitte then progressed within the company, holding the roles of Communications Manager from July 2014 to November 2016, Assistant Communications Director from December 2016 to December 2019, and Director of Communications from January 2020 until the present day.

Margitte Kristjansson earned their Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Washington from 2005 to 2009. Margitte then pursued a Master's degree in Communication at UC San Diego from 2009 to 2013.
