Arturo Galván Tomillo

Arturo Galván Tomillo has a diverse work experience in the field of law and sports management. Arturo is currently employed at UEFA, where they hold the positions of Legal Counsel and UEFA Venue Director since September 2021 and April 2022, respectively. Prior to that, they worked as a Disciplinary lawyer at UEFA from January 2019 to April 2022.

Arturo also has teaching experience, having served as a Lecturer in Global Master in International Sport Law at ISDE Law & Business School since December 2020, and as a Lecturer in Master in Sports Management and Legal Skills since February 2017.

Before joining UEFA and ISDE Law & Business School, Arturo worked as a Legal Counsel at Málaga Club de Fútbol from September 2014 to December 2018. Arturo also gained practical experience in sports law as a Sports law intern at DE BUEN RODRÍGUEZ ABOGADOS, S.C. (Mexico City) from September 2013 to January 2014.

Arturo Galván Tomillo's education history includes several notable credentials. Arturo completed the Football Law Programme at UEFA Academy from 2021 to 2022, focusing on sports law. In 2013, they obtained a Certificate of Advanced Studies in English Sports Law from the University of Cambridge's Wolfson College. During the same year, they also earned a Master of Laws (L.L.M) in international sports law from ISDE. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2012, they pursued a Licenciatura en derecho (Law degree) at Universidad de Valladolid. Additionally, in 2010 and 2011, they attended Université Paris CitÉ for a Quatrième année universitaire de droit (Fourth year of law studies) with a focus on Derecho.

Furthermore, Arturo Galván Tomillo holds additional certifications. Arturo became a Colegiado member of the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid in June 2013.
