Édouard Couté has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Édouard started their career as a Project Manager Intern at Aluminerie Alouette Inc., where they led a heating system centralization project and conducted feasibility studies and design work for heating recovery systems. Édouard then joined CORIS as an IT Project Manager and Software Engineer, responsible for leading electronic document management projects and managing resources and budget.

In 2006, Édouard joined UEFA as an ICT Football Solutions Leader-Coordinator-Specialist, where they provided project management, solution management, and business analysis services. Édouard also served as a Project Delivery Manager, leading a team of project coordinators and ensuring customer satisfaction. Later, they took on the role of Business Solutions Manager, focusing on delivering IT services aligned with business expectations and managing budgets. Currently, Édouard holds the position of Head of ICT Design and Control at UEFA, where they support the Chief of ICT in achieving the organization's strategic objectives and ensures compliance with regulatory obligations and policies.

Édouard Couté completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering from EIGSI - École d'ingénieurs généralistes, where they studied from 1996 to 2001. In addition to their academic qualifications, Édouard obtained the ITIL V3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in January 2012.
