Lysien Nurishmi

Lysien Nurishmi has a diverse and extensive work experience in the sports industry. Lysien started their career in 2003 as the Head of Press Office at FSHF - Federata Shqiptare e Futbollit. From there, they held various roles such as Specialist in the Competition Department and Security Officer of the Albanian National Team. In 2015, they became the Head of Competition Department and held the position until 2020. During their time at FSHF, they also served as the Manager of the Football Management System, COMET. Additionally, they worked as a Match Manager, coordinating the Albanian National Team matches with UEFA and establishing efficient venue management. Lysien took on the position of VAR Project Manager in 2020.

In 2009, Lysien joined UEFA and has held multiple roles since then. Lysien started as a Venue Data Coordinator and later became a Venue Director, responsible for overseeing match operations. Currently, they are serving as the Venue Director for UEFA, a position they have held since May 2018. Moreover, they have taken on additional responsibilities, such as being the Mobility and Supporters Coordinator for the UECL Final 2022 Tirana.

Overall, Lysien Nurishmi has demonstrated their expertise in venue management, match coordination, and competition department management throughout their career in both FSHF and UEFA.

Lysien Nurishmi has a diverse education history. In 1995, they attended Petro Nini Luarasi High School and completed their high school education in 1999. Later on, from 2000 to 2005, they pursued a Master's Degree in English Language and Literature/Letters at the University of Tirana. In 2009, they participated in the UEFA Knowledge Information Sharing Scenario (KISS) program, focusing on "Digital Media & FMS" in the field of Communication and Media Studies. Then, in 2010, they attended the UEFA KISS Community Workshop, specializing in "Digital Media" in the context of Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia. In 2011, Lysien Nurishmi expanded their knowledge by completing a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Football Management at IDHEAP | Institut de hautes études en administration publique. Additionally, in the same year, they also attended the FIFA Event Management Seminar, contributing to their expertise in Sports Studies.
