Petr Fousek

Since joining the Football Federation of the Czech Republic (FACR) in 1993, Petr Fousek has devoted over 30 years to Czech football, serving as general secretary from 2001 to 2007 and advisor to the president from 2011 to 2017, before being elected president himself in June 2021. In 2015, he was tournament director for the UEFA European Under-21 Championship finals, hosted by the FACR; he also represents the association on the Czech National Olympic Committee and Czech Sports Union.

Fousek is a member of the UEFA National Associations Committee, and both UEFA and FIFA have drawn on his experience in football administration to support missions to national associations in Asia, Africa and Europe.
