Sébastien Blanchard has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sébastien started their career as a Language Specialist at Transware in 2000 and later worked as a French translator at SDL plc in 2001. In 1998, they served as a Translator/Ticketing Assistant at the FIFA World Cup France.

Sébastien then gained experience in the sports industry, working as a Media Tribune, Press Conference, and Mixed Zone Manager at the Rugby World Cup in 2007. Sébastien also served as a UEFA Venue Data Coordinator, responsible for collecting and validating match data, and as an Editorial team member at UEFA.com.

In addition, Sébastien had a role as a PA Sport Local Correspondent at the Press Association from 2012 to 2015. Sébastien also worked at ManchesterUnited.com as a Translator/Editor, covering match nights and performing translation and editorial tasks for the French version of the website.

More recently, Sébastien has been a Sales Representative and Madewis Cup and Madewis Academy Coordinator at Madewis adidas since 2017. Overall, they have a strong background in translation, editorial work, sports administration, and coordination roles.

Sébastien Blanchard obtained a Master's degree in English and Russian languages, along with economics, from Université Lyon 3 in the years 1993 to 1997. Following this, they pursued a postgraduate degree (DESS) in professional and audiovisual translation at the Institut de Traducteurs, d'Interprètes et de Relations Internationales in Strasbourg, France, from 1997 to 1999.
