Ulrich Ammundsen

Ulrich Ammundsen has a diverse work experience that spans various roles in event management and project coordination. Ulrich most recently worked at UEFA as the EURO 2024 Host City and Project Coordination Manager. Prior to that, they were the Event and Activation Manager FIFAe Finals at DreamHack Sports Games. Ulrich also worked at Dansk Boldspil-Union (DBU) as the Host City Manager for EURO 2020. Ulrich has experience in teaching at HELPAHEAD and served as the Event Director at the Danish Triathlon Federation, where they organized multiple world championships. Ulrich was also a Board Member at Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festival and Strøm DK. Additionally, they worked as a Consulting Project Manager at Svendborg Kommune and Destination SydkystDanmark. At Wonderful Copenhagen, Ulrich held various roles, including Event Director, Head of Secretariat, and Head of City Events for the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. Overall, Ulrich has gained extensive experience in event management, project coordination, and consulting roles throughout their career.

Ulrich Ammundsen completed their higher education from 1989 to 1991 at Aalborg Handelsskole, where they obtained a Højere Handeleksamen. Following this, from 1993 to 1999, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Danish & Media Science at Aalborg University.
