Romie Jean

Romie Jean has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2018, they worked as a Medical Sales Development Representative at HealthFair. In 2019, they served as a Front Desk Receptionist at the University of Central Florida - College of Nursing. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Patient Coordinator at Sage Dental, where they managed accounts and improved patient management and workflow processes. Currently, Romie Jean is employed at UF AIS | Association for Information Systems as a Technology Consulting Analyst, where they collaborate with a team to design web applications and utilize project management tools for consulting projects.

Romie Jean began their education at Stranahan High School, where they obtained a High School Diploma with a field of study in Medical Magnet in 2015. They went on to attend the University of Central Florida from 2015 to 2019 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences Pre-Clinical. Continuing their education, Romie then pursued a Master of Science degree in Information Systems & Operations Management with a field of study in Data Science at the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business, starting in 2022.

Throughout their education, Romie also obtained several certifications. In 2015, they became a Certified Medical Administrative Assistant through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). In 2019, Romie completed the Human Subjects Research-Group 2.Social/Behavioral Research Investigators and Key Personnel and Social and Behavioral Responsible Conduct of Research certifications, both from the CITI Program, A Division of BRANY. They further expanded their skills and qualifications by obtaining a Certified Hospitality & Tourism Management certification from Florida Atlantic University in 2020. Most recently, in 2022, Romie completed the Cyber Security Bootcamp for Women offered by the ICTTF - International Cyber Threat Task Force.
