Maria J. Mejia

Maria J. Mejia is an experienced research coordinator at the Emerging Pathogens Institute at the University of Florida since February 2017. Concurrently, Maria serves as a patient ambassador at UF Health, where responsibilities include developing care plans for non-English speaking patients and auditing medical staff compliance with patient safety policies. Previous roles include team lead and brand ambassador at MKTG, where Maria enhanced consumer brand awareness, and assistant program coordinator at the Emerging Pathogens Institute, where program evaluation and outreach strategies were key focus areas.
