Efren Lopez

Efren Lopez has a diverse work experience. Efren currently holds the position of Graduate Outreach Director at UF Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers since September 2023. Prior to this, Efren worked as an End User Computer Support Specialist at the University of Florida starting from September 2022, and also served as Assistant to the Vice President of Student Life from April 2022 to September 2022. Before joining the University of Florida, Efren worked as an Amazon Flex Driver at Amazon starting from July 2021. Their earlier experience includes working as a Bartender at Bridges Restaurant & Bar from September 2019 to March 2020.

Efren Lopez began their education in 2012 at the State College of Florida-Manatee-Sarasota, where they pursued an Associate of Arts degree. Efren completed this degree in 2021. Following that, they enrolled in the University of Florida in 2021 and is expected to graduate in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.

In addition to their formal education, Efren has obtained various certifications from Microsoft. In March 2023, they received the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification. In May 2023, they completed the Minecraft: Education Edition Teacher Academy Learning Path. In June 2023, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900) certification. Finally, in August 2023, Efren achieved the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900) certification.
