Yair Temkin

Yair Temkin has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Summer Camp Counselor at the Dave & Mary Alper Jewish Community Center Inc. In 2021, Yair interned as a Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Google. Yair then participated in the Google Software Product Sprint as a Traveller, where they developed a vacation planning website.

In 2022, Yair interned as a Software Engineer at Lyft and Google again. Yair then joined UF Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers in 2023 as a Senior Software Engineering Director, where they facilitated the organization and maintenance of SHPE UF's website using React.js and created a mobile app.

Also in 2023, Yair became an Engineering Fellow at Kleiner Perkins and a Teaching Assistant for Data Structures and Algorithms at UF Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering. Yair also worked as a Teaching Assistant for Programming Fundamentals 1 before ending their role in May 2023. Additionally, Yair served as a Software Engineer Intern at Figma from May 2023 to August 2023.

Yair Temkin earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Florida, spanning from 2019 to 2024.
