Marisa Martinez

Marisa Martinez, MSW, has a diverse work experience in the fields of insurance, client service, and social work. Marisa currently holds the position of Filing Analyst II at UFG Insurance, starting in October 2022.

From 2017 to 2022, Marisa worked at American National in two different roles. Marisa started as a Customer Service Representative in July 2012 and transitioned to the role of Quality Assurance Auditor/Trainer in January 2014. Later, they became the Team Lead in the Client Service Center in November 2014, and held this position until April 2017 when they joined the Regulatory Compliance team as an Underwriter.

In 2019, Marisa joined American National Property And Casualty Company as an Underwriter II, where they worked until April 2020.

In addition to their insurance experience, Marisa has also worked in the field of social work. Marisa served as a Social Worker at The Maples Health & Rehabilitation from May 2012 to August 2012, and at Good Shepherd Hospice from January 2012 to May 2012. Prior to these roles, they interned as a Social Worker at The Maples Health & Rehabilitation from January 2011 to May 2011.

Marisa Martinez obtained their Associate's degree in General Studies from Ozarks Technical Community College from 2006 to 2008. Marisa then pursued their Bachelor of Social Work degree from Missouri State University from 2008 to 2011, with a minor in Spanish Language and Literature during the same period. Marisa Martinez furthered their education at Missouri State University and obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree specializing in Clinical/Medical Social Work from 2011 to 2012.

Additionally, Marisa Martinez has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In December 2012, they received an Insurance Producer License, Property & Casualty from the State of Missouri- Office of Administration. In December 2015, they obtained an AINS certification from The Institutes, and in December 2016, they obtained an AIS certification from the same institution. Furthermore, Marisa Martinez also holds a Supervision Certificate from the Management Development Institute, which they obtained in April 2016.
