Colette Wirz Nauke

Colette Wirz Nauke is an accomplished independent professional fine artist and Manhattan-based artist, currently active since 2006 at Ugallery.com and at Colette Wirz's Gallery since August 2004. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting/Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Colette's work, inspired by a fascination with nature, juxtaposes New York landscapes with various environments, reflecting dreams and imagination while expressing the beauty inherent in all forms of life. In addition to artistic pursuits, Colette has served as an art instructor at The Art Studio NY from 2006 to 2009, where art curriculums were developed and painting, drawing, and mixed media were taught to students of all ages, and as an art educator at the Long Island Children's Museum from 2001 to 2005.
