Bart Verstrynge

Bart Verstrynge has had a long and successful career in software engineering. Bart began their career in 2012 as a Software Engineer at 3P, where they were responsible for developing and executing the release of a new product involving information retrieval techniques. In 2015, they joined OTA Insight as a Software Engineer, and also started their own company, Holotect, where they applied their technical expertise to help (early stage) companies beat challenges in cloud computing, AI & software engineering. In 2019, they became Co-Founder and Technical Advisor at Secury360. Finally, in 2023 they joined Velsera as Chief Architect, where they connect healthcare and life sciences to reveal the true promise of precision medicine.

Bart Verstrynge's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UHasselt from 2007 to 2010, a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a minor in Artificial Intelligence from KU Leuven from 2010 to 2012, and a Management degree from Vlerick Business School from 2019 to 2020. Bart also attended Virga-Jessecollege Hasselt from 2001 to 2007, studying Science and Math. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions from Microsoft in 2016, Scalable Machine Learning from edX in 2015, and R Programming from Coursera Verified Certificates in 2015.
