Dan Benardette

Dan Benardette has served as the CEO of UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of New York at UnitedHealth Group since September 2006, overseeing a health plan that insures over 625,000 Medicaid and dual eligible members. In this role, Dan focuses on improving member health through collaborations with providers, communities, and the state of New York. Prior to this position, Dan held various finance-related roles at UnitedHealth Group, including Vice President Finance for Community & State and Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. Dan's earlier experience includes working as a Cost Analyst Associate at Lockheed Martin. Dan holds a BA in Economics and Business from the University of Minnesota and completed the Executive Development Program at The Wharton School.
