Jacqueline Mendoza is a skilled mental health professional with extensive experience in social work and mental health therapy. Currently serving as a Mental Health Therapist at UHS since April 2018, Jacqueline previously held the position of Social Worker at Symphony At Midway Post Acute Network, where key responsibilities included developing policies for the identification of residents' social and emotional needs and participating in various facility committees. Jacqueline’s career began with an MSW internship at La Casa Norte, dedicated to serving youth and families facing homelessness, followed by a role as Academic Advisor/Case Manager at Instituto del Progreso Latino, which focused on the development of Latino immigrants. Jacqueline also worked as a Recruiter at the National Latino Education Institute. Academically, Jacqueline earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Northeastern Illinois University, a Master of Social Work specializing in Planning and Administration from Chicago State University, and an Associate of Arts with honors from City Colleges of Chicago-Harry S Truman College.
