Bai Li

Bai Li is an experienced applied scientist currently working at UiPath since September 2025. Previously, Bai served as a founding engineer at Untether Labs for two years, where an autoscheduler for 1,500 clinicians was developed, significantly reducing manual scheduling work. Bai also worked as a machine learning engineer at Imbue, focusing on scalable data pipelines, and as an NLP research engineer at SnapTravel, where a named entity extraction system for a chatbot was created, earning recognition for best paper at an IEEE conference. Internships at companies such as Yelp, Yext, Minted, A Thinking Ape, and TutorJam.com were formative experiences in software engineering, contributing to various projects and technologies. Bai holds a PhD and an MS in Computational Linguistics from the University of Toronto, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
