Prasanna Venkatesen

Prasanna Venkatesen has a diverse range of work experience in various companies and roles. Prasanna is currently working as the National Head - Compensation & Benefits at Ujjivan Small Finance Bank since 2022. Before that, Prasanna served as the Director of Total Rewards and later as a Senior Manager in the Compensation & Benefits department at Sutherland from 2016 to 2022. Prior to Sutherland, they were a Senior Manager in HR at PNB MetLife India Insurance Co. Ltd from 2015 to 2016. Prasanna also worked as an Assistant Manager in HR at Samsung Electronics India Pvt Ltd and as an Assistant Manager in C&B-HR Ops-Statutory Compliance at Lifestyle International Pvt Ltd. Earlier in their career, Prasanna held positions such as Payroll Manager at Sasken Communication, Deputy Manager at MetLife India Insurance Co Ltd, Global HR Specialist at Flextronics Pvt Ltd, and Senior Executive at Aon Hewitt.

Prasanna Venkatesen completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in HRM from Annamalai University from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2008, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in HR Management from Pondicherry University. In 2006, they also completed an ICWAI Intermediate in Cost Accounting from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India. Prasanna's earliest educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from Kumbakonam Men's Government College, which they completed from 1999 to 2002. Additionally, Prasanna has obtained a certification in Certified Compensation & Benefit Management from Middle Earth HR in December 2017.
