Oldrich Mach

Oldrich Mach is a key expert in science and research at UJV Řež, a. s. (Nuclear Research Institute Rez plc) since September 2005, where responsibilities include project management. Previously, Mach served as the head of the emergency preparedness department at Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant from September 1995 to August 2005, overseeing the development of the internal emergency plan and ensuring the organization's emergency response capacity. Merging technical and managerial roles, Mach also held the position of superintendent of maintenance of electronic security systems and provided investor technical supervision during the construction of Dukovany NPP from 1974 to 1995. Educationally, Mach obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in population protection from the University of Defense between 2007 and 2012 and earned a degree in microelectronics (Ing.) from Brno University of Technology from 1987 to 1993.
