George Warren

George Warren has held various significant positions in the field of education and public policy, currently serving as the Head of Office and Senior Private Secretary at the Department for Education since July 2019, where responsibilities include leading a team to support government priorities in a broad public policy portfolio. Prior roles include Ministerial Private Secretary and Policy Adviser for the Regional Schools Commissioner, as well as English Lead at Greenwood Academies Trust, where curriculum effectiveness was a focus. Previous experience encompasses teaching roles, a research internship at the Greater London Authority, and brand management with Teach First. George Warren holds a Master of Arts in History and Politics from The University of Edinburgh and a PGCE in Education from Canterbury Christ Church University.
