Graeme Finch is an experienced professional in the field of magnetics and non-destructive testing, currently serving as Chair, Vice Chair, and Committee Member of the UK Magnetics Society since June 2018. At the National Physical Laboratory, Graeme holds the position of Senior Scientist and has served as Higher Research Scientist since May 2017, focusing on electromagnetic non-destructive testing solutions in the nuclear and oil & gas industries while characterizing magnetic materials. Additionally, Graeme is an active member of several committees, including the ISE/108 Committee and TC68 Committee within the BSI and IEC respectively, since December 2020. Graeme completed a PhD in Integrated Magnetic Resonance at the University of Southampton, where research focused on a microfluidic device for cell metabolomics detection, after obtaining a Master of Chemistry degree from the same university.
