Jialiang Yi

Jialiang Yi is a highly experienced engineering professional with a focus on electrical engineering and sustainable energy technologies. Currently serving as Lead Planning Engineer and previously as Infrastructure Planning Engineer at UK Power Networks since April 2018, Jialiang has a strong background in research and academia, having worked as a Research Associate and PhD student at Newcastle University from 2013 to April 2018, and as a PhD student at Durham University from 2011 to 2013. Jialiang holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering from Newcastle University and another Doctor of Philosophy from Durham University, in addition to a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Energy Technologies from the University of Southampton and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology.
