Nirmal Kotecha

Nirmal is responsible for UK Power Networks’ Capital Programme and Procurement. Prior to joining in 2011, Nirmal was a Main Board Director at the Highways Agency for three years with the responsibility for delivering the Agency’s £9 Billion Roads Programme. He is accredited with the transformation of the Agency’s capital programme delivery and commercial capability following severe criticism from the Nichols Review in 2007. Nirmal has also spent over eight years with Anglian Water where he set up a sector leading supply chain function and is accredited with developing Anglian Water’s collaborative @One alliance model for delivering its 2005-2010 Capital Programme. He is currently a member of Infrastructure UK’s (IUK) Client Panel; the Green Construction Board’s Infrastructure Working Group and a consultee on the National Infrastructure Plan Strategic Engagement Forum (NIPSEF). Nirmal is an accredited OGC High Risk Project Reviewer and a Fellow of both the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
