Matt Farrar

Matt Farrar is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Director of Legal and Legal Counsel at UK TOTE GROUP since February 2019. Previously, Matt held the position of Senior Technology Lawyer at BBC from October 2015 to February 2019, where strategic legal advice was provided for complex IT procurement projects, including the Aurora Programme. Matt's career also includes roles as Legal Counsel - Digital at Ladbrokes, Legal Counsel at Tesco PLC, and Solicitor at DLA Piper specializing in intellectual property and technology matters. Early career experience includes a secondment as Legal Counsel at Aegis Media and a paralegal position at Browells. Matt holds an LLB Hons in Law from Northumbria University and completed further education at the University of Leeds in early 2023.
