Alberto Perez

Alberto Perez is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in leading and architecting software solutions, currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at UKG since April 2020. At UKG, Alberto has significantly influenced the architectural evolution of the in-house CI/CD microservices platform and facilitated the adoption of new technologies across various teams, resulting in cost reductions and optimization of the software development lifecycle for over 1000 developers. Prior to UKG, Alberto held roles at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. where contributions included the development of a redesigned Booking Engine and advancing web platform technologies. Experience also encompasses senior positions at LiveAnswer, Rex Three Inc., and The Cloud Studio, along with foundational work as a Senior DevOp and educator at the IT Department of the University of Pinar del Rio. Alberto holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Havana, earned between 2004 and 2009.
