In 1990, Lee completed Matric (Standard 10) at Queensburgh Girls High (KZN) and achieved the runner-up to Dux and Academic Honours. Additionally, Lee holds the Chartered Accountant (SA) qualification from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
