Irina Howard, MBA, CMA, CSCA

Irina Howard, MBA, CMA, CSCA, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 20 years. Irina is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Threads Uniform Agency since April 2020. Prior to this role, they were the Director of Finance at the same company from April 2018 to March 2020.

Before joining Threads Uniform Agency, Irina worked at Tredegar Film Products for 12 years, starting in 2006. During their tenure, they held various positions of increasing responsibility. Irina served as a Finance Manager from June 2014 to April 2018, overseeing operations costs and variances analysis as well as manufacturing costs projections and budgets. In addition, they led operations reporting and analysis across 11 global sites and presented results to top management.

Prior to their role as Finance Manager, Irina worked as a Manufacturing Analysis Manager from February 2011 to June 2014. In this position, they were responsible for managing and supervising operations costs and variances analysis, as well as leading operations reporting and analysis across the global sites. Irina also presented results to top management.

Before becoming a Manufacturing Analysis Manager, Irina served as a Senior Financial Analyst - Business Process Improvement from November 2008 to February 2011. In this role, they supported operations cost analysis, reporting, and budgeting. Irina also conducted financial analysis and validation for investment projects. Notably, they developed a new centralized manufacturing costs and variances analysis mechanism and reporting system, as well as implemented a new approach to manufacturing costs planning and forecasting across 11 global sites.

Irina's earlier experiences include working as a Plant Accountant at Tredegar Film Products from October 2006 to November 2008, where they were responsible for period closing, financial statement integrity, reconciliations, spending and manufacturing costs variances analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Irina also established the accounting and manufacturing analysis function in a new facility and identified and corrected corporate-level analysis deficiencies.

Before joining Tredegar Film Products, Irina worked as a Controller at DK Enterprise, NC from 2005 to 2006. Irina also gained experience as a Staff Accountant at Catawba Corporation, VA in 2003. Additionally, Irina worked at Royal Crown Leasing Inc, NC from 2001 to 2003, starting as an A/P & Cash Management employee and later assuming full backup responsibilities for the controller. In this role, they developed and implemented a new system-based process for managerial reporting preparation.

Irina began their career as a Bookkeeper at Crockett National Bank, TX in 2000. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated exceptional financial expertise and a proven track record of implementing process improvements and delivering results.

Irina Howard, holds a Bachelor's degree in International Economics from Ural State University of Econimics. Irina then pursued an MBA degree from Fayetteville State University. In 2011, Irina obtained the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the Institute of Management Accountants. Later, in 2017, they also obtained the Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis (CSCA) certification from the Institute of Management Accountants.
