Rebecca Franzen

Rebecca Franzen began their work experience in 2016 as a Substation Design Intern at ITC Holdings Corp., where they worked on various projects related to substation design. Rebecca then joined Iowa State University as a Peer Mentor for the Program for Women in Science and Engineering, where they assisted first-year female students in STEM majors with their transition into college. During their time at Iowa State University, Rebecca also worked as a Student Recruiter for the Athletics Department, where they supported the recruiting staff in organizing events and communicating with prospective athletes and their families. Rebecca also served as a Women's Volleyball Student Manager, helping with practice drills, equipment preparation, statistic recording, and managing the team's social media. Additionally, they worked as an Administration Student Assistant, providing support in various administrative tasks. Rebecca's most recent position was at Ulteig as a Graduate Engineer, where they started in January 2020.

Rebecca Franzen completed their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Iowa State University. Rebecca attended Iowa State University from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended Northeast Iowa Community College from 2013 to 2015, though the specific degree and field of study are unknown. In addition to their formal education, Rebecca Franzen obtained certifications in "Becoming an Impactful and Influential Leader" and "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" from LinkedIn in August 2021.
