Amit Hochman

Amit Hochman is an accomplished algorithm scientist with extensive experience in computational methods for physics and engineering. Currently employed as a Staff Algorithms Scientist at Ultima Genomics since June 2021, Amit previously held roles as a Senior Algorithm Engineer at Mobileye and held multiple positions at ANSYS, Inc., including Lead Research and Development Engineer. Amit's academic background includes postdoctoral research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, complemented by a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Technion. Amit's research expertise spans areas such as Electromagnetics, Photonics, and model-reduction techniques, with a solid foundation in teaching Electromagnetic Fields.
