Gesche Loft

Gesche Loft has a diverse range of work experience. In 2015, they began working as a Freelance content author for Babbel and also worked as a Freelance translator during this time. In 2016, they volunteered as a Development Volunteer at Skateistan. In 2017, they were a Co-Organizer of an academic conference at Freie Universität Berlin and also worked as a Finance and Administration Officer at Skateistan. They also worked as a Freelance transcreator and proofreader for kontextor teoranta. In 2019, Gesche worked as a Creative Writing Teacher at the Women's Correctional Facility in Berlin-Neukölln. In 2020, they joined Tatort Zukunft e.v. as a Project Manager and Communications Associate. In 2021, they worked as a Communications professional at Eike Becker_Architekten and later transitioned to become a Content Coordinator, and currently a Content Specialist, at Ultimate.

Gesche Loft's education history consists of various academic pursuits in different fields. In 2009, they attended Université Paris Nanterre to study Arts du spectacle. In 2010, they enrolled at UCLA Extension and focused on Chicano Studies, World Arts and Cultures, and English Literature. From 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Anthropology at European-University Viadrina. During the same period, they also studied screenwriting at the German Academy of Film and Television. Lastly, from 2016 to 2019, they attended Freie Universität Berlin, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Urban Sociology, American Studies, and Migration Studies.
